Kevin Morby
Compsositor, guitarist and singer Kevin Morby was born on April 2, 1988 in
Lubbock, Texas, USA, and began playing in a band called Creepy Aliens in his
early years. After graduating, he moved to Kansas City and then to Booklyn, New
York, where he settled and worked as a waiter. In 2010, he joined the noisy
folk-rock band Woods on bass, with whom he recorded three albums, before joining
The Babies at the request of his roommate Cassie Ramone (lead singer of Vivian
Girls). On guitar and vocals, he took part in the group's two albums alongside
