Kevin Brown

Kevin Brown, born in 1950 in Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire, England, is a British blues guitarist and singer who was inspired by Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Muddy Waters at fourteen. After studying at Dartington College and Rolle College, he moved to Somerset, where he worked as an art teacher before pursuing music professionally. His first albums Road Dreams (1982) and Rust (1988) earned critical acclaim, with the latter receiving a British Blues Foundation nomination for best blues album of the year.
