Kerigma is a Mexican rock band from Mexico City, formed in 1983 by Ernesto
Canales and Sergio Silva. The group initially included Rodolfo Yáñez on guitar,
Tony Méndez on bass, Juan Carlos Novelo on drums, and Gilberto Fabila on
keyboards. Kerigma released their debut album, Siguiendo la Línea, in 1986 under
Polygram Records, featuring hits like "Nena" and "Mi Espera". Their second
album, Esquizofrenia (1994), produced by Memo Méndez Guiu, included the popular
