Ken Burgess
Ken Burgess, born November 26, 1944, in Dagenham, London, died June 13, 2021,
was a British-Israeli producer, composer, songwriter, singer, and painter. He
taught himself guitar at age 9, joined the Teenbeats at age 14, and later
co-wrote “My White Bicycle” for Tomorrow, a track recorded at Abbey Road in 1968
that gained underground acclaim. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, he produced and
wrote for groups such as Riff Raff, Rare Bird, and East of Eden, and
collaborated with artists including Jeff Beck and the London Symphony Orchestra.
