Keith & Tex, a Jamaican rocksteady duo consisting of Keith Rowe and Phillip
Texas Dixon, hail from Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica. The pair met through a
mutual friend and initially performed as part of a five-man group before working
with Derrick Harriot. Their breakthrough came in the late 1960s when they
recorded several singles with Harriott, including "Stop That Train" and
"Tonight". In 1970, Keith & Tex ceased working together, with Rowe emigrating to
the United States and Dixon moving to Canada. Rowe later released solo tracks
