Keith Ian Carradine, born on August 8, 1949 in San Mateo, California, is an
American singer and actor. He began his musical career while also pursuing
acting, initially appearing on stage with his father John Carradine in
Shakespearean productions. His breakthrough moment came when he was cast in the
original Broadway run of Hair (1969), where he started in the chorus and
