DJ Kavinsky, whose real name is Vincent Belorgey, was born on July 31, 1975, in
the Seine-Saint-Denis department (France). After teaching himself to play the
piano as a child, he became interested in electronic music while serving in the
military. During the 2000s, he released numerous EPs, including Teddy Boy in
2006, 1986 in 2007, and Blazer in 2008. After opening for Daft Punk—a duo to
which he is often compared—in the late 2000s, he gained recognition thanks to
