Kátia Sabino Rodrigues, better known by her stage name Katú Mirim, was born on
October 9, 1986, in São Paulo, Brazil, and is a Brazilian singer, songwriter,
rapper, and actress. She is a pioneer of Indigenous Futurism in Brazil and is
also known for her distinctive fusion of fashion, futurism, and ancestry. Born
and raised in São Paulo state, she discovered that her biological father was
Indigenous and belonged to the Boe Bororo people. She began her music career in
2003 with the garage band Kids Six before returning to music in 2017 as a rapper
