Marion Kathleen Londres, known by the stage name Kathy Linden, was an American
pop singer born on 22 June 1938 in Trenton, New Jersey. She began her career at
a young age, performing as a tap and ballet dancer and later acting in school
plays and musicals. Her early talents also included playing the piano and violin
with local symphony orchestras and an all-girl string quintet called the Singing
Strings. She was discovered by record producer Joe Leahy at 19 years old,
leading to her first release, "It's Just My Luck to Be Fifteen", on Felsted
