music career by selling CDs at local venues. Her early breakthrough came with
the album Dog Leap Stairs released in 1999 and continued with her sophomore
album, Little Black Numbers, in 2000. Kathryn Williams's career steadily
progressed through the early 2000s with subsequent albums including Old Low
Light (2002), Relations (2004), and Over Fly Over (2005). In 2006, she
