Katatonia
Swedish multi-instrumentalists Jonas Renkse and Anders Nyström founded Katatonia
in 1991. The Scandinavian heavy metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, initially
existed as a studio project of its two co-founders. As a duo, they released
their debut EP Jhva Elohim Meth... The Revival in 1992 and bassist Guillaume Le
Huche joined the group in time for Katatonia's debut album Dance of December
Souls (1993). Guitarist Fredrik Norrman and singer Mikael Åkerfeldt were the
