Karunesh
Bruno Reuter, known professionally as Karunesh, was born in 1956 in Cologne,
Germany. After a severe accident, he embarked on a spiritual journey to India,
where he met Osho and received the name "Karunesh," meaning compassion.
Returning to Germany, Reuter lived in Hamburg for five years within the Rajneesh
commune, honing his musical skills and collaborating with international
musicians. His debut album, Sounds of the Heart, was released in 1984, marking
the beginning of a prolific career in electronic music and New Age genres.
