The Japanese band Kankaku Piero was formed in 2013 by frontman Naohiro Yokoyama,
guitarist Takuto Akizuki, bassist Daiki Takiguchi, and drummer Achilles Kenta.
Based in Osaka, the musicians took an independent approach to their business
operations from the very start, handling virtually all tasks — from songwriting
to production to merchandise manufacturing — themselves. After building an
audience with EPs like 2015's Break, the band reached a national audience in
2016, when the single "Haikei, Itsukanokimihe" was chosen as the theme song of
