Kana
Originally from Mauritius, the reggae group Kana formed in 1997 and released
their first album in 2000. Two years later came the huge success of the single
"Plantation", which sold 350,000 copies. After a few years of soul-searching,
Kana shifted from convivial raggamuffin to a reggae closer to its roots with the
albums Les Fous, Les Savants and Les Sages in 2008, followed by Internacional,
their fourth album, released in 2010.
