Kaina
Kaina Castillo, known professionally as KAINA, is an American singer-songwriter.
Born on January 22, 1996, Castillo began exploring music at the age of nine,
inspired by Stevie Wonder, Celia Cruz, and Oscar D'León. Castillo performed with
the nonprofit organization The Happiness Club and studied public relations and
advertising at DePaul University. In 2016, Castillo released the debut EP Sweet
Asl., followed by the EP 4U in 2018. In early 2019, Castillo released the single
“Green” before launching the debut studio album, Next to the Sun, on July 12,
2019, through Sooper Records....
