K1 De Ultimate
Wasiu Omogbolahan Olasunkanmi Adewale Ayinde Marshal, known professionally as K1
De Ultimate, is a Nigerian Fuji musician. Born March 3, 1957 in Lagos, Nigeria,
he developed an interest in music at eight. By age 15, he had won several local
musical competitions. He joined Ayinde Barrister’s Supreme Fuji Commanders from
1975 to 1978, having previously served as an instrument packer. Marshal released
his debut album, Iba, in 1980, which included the hit track “Abode Mecca”. He
