Julie Anne Miller was born Julie Griffin on July 12, 1956 in Waxahachie, Texas. She is an American country and contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter. She married musician Buddy Miller in 1981, and they relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. Her professional recording career began with the group Streetlight, which released a self-titled album in 1983. Her debut solo album, Meet Julie Miller, appeared on Myrrh Records in 1990. Her subsequent solo albums include He Walks Through Walls (1991), Orphans and Angels (1993), Invisible Girl (1994), Blue Pony (1997), and Broken Things ...
