Julie Christensen
Julie Christensen, born on January 21, 1956, in Iowa City, Iowa, is an American
singer and songwriter. She began singing as a child and performed at local
churches. In her early career, Christensen joined Longshot, a country-rock band,
and later moved to Austin, Texas, where she performed with jazz artists. She
then relocated to Los Angeles and became involved in the punk scene, forming the
Divine Horsemen with Chris D. The band released three studio albums and two EPs
