Joy Lynn White, born Joy White on October 2 1961, in Bentonville, Arkansas, is
an American country singer who was raised in Mishawaka, Indiana. After early
performances on regional stages, she signed with Columbia Records in 1992 and
released her debut album Between Midnight & Hindsight that same year, featuring
the single "Cold Day in July", which gained attention from the Chicks (formerly
