Jowell & Randy is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo comprising Joel A. "Jowell" Muñoz
Martinez and Randy Arrea, who have carved a significant niche in the reggaeton
music scene since the early 2000s. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and
raised in Cataño, Puerto Rico, Jowell was inspired by the pioneering rapper Vico
C, leading him to his first recording session in 1996. Randy, born in San Juan,
Puerto Rico, joined the music world with a choir background and an affinity for
rhythm and blues, blues, and soul music. Inspired by the success of other
