João Pedro Correia de Carvalho, known as JottaPê, was born on June 2, 2000, in
São Paulo, Brazil. He began his artistic career as a child actor, gaining
prominence with roles in films like O Menino da Porteira (2009) and television
shows such as Uma Rosa com Amor. Transitioning to music in his adolescence,
JottaPê adopted the stage name MC Jottapê and became a notable figure in
Brazilian funk. His breakthrough came with the single "Sentou e Gostou" (2019),
