Joshua David Blum, known professionally as Josh Joplin, and born on January 1, 1972, in Washington D.C., is an American singer-songwriter and music and film producer raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He learned to play guitar at 13 and released his debut single "A Present for Hitler" in 1990 under Sleepless Nights Records. Joplin gained significant attention with the Josh Joplin Group, formed in 1995.
