Joseph d'Anvers, born August 7, 1976 in Nevers, is a versatile French artist,
combining the talents of singer-songwriter and writer. After studying applied
arts in his hometown, he trained in cinema, working as a cinematographer on
various films. At the same time, he is active on the music scene, notably with
the groups Polagirl and Super 84. An operation on a vocal polyp in 2004 changed
his singing style and led him to write solo songs under the pseudonym Joseph
d'Anvers, a name inspired by the Paris metro station Anvers. His talent was soon
recognized, and he was awarded a FAIR...
