Josef K
Josef K, a Scottish post-punk band formed in 1979, consisted of Paul Haig on
vocals and guitar, Malcolm Ross on guitar and keyboards, David Weddell on bass,
and Ronnie Torrance on drums. Initially known as TV Art, the band changed their
name to Josef K after being asked to open for Adam and the Ants at Clouds
Ballroom. Their first release was the single "Romance"/"Chance Meeting" in
December 1979. They later signed with Postcard Records and released a series of
critically acclaimed singles from 1980 to 1981. The band recorded their debut
