José Arbey Loaiza, born on January 30, 1952, in La Marina, Valle del Cauca, is a
Colombian singer-songwriter whose career has spanned over four decades, blending
traditional ranchera and bolero with heartfelt storytelling. He began his
recording journey with early albums like Constelación (1987) and Mi Sufrir
(1990), establishing his reputation for emotional ballads. In 2006, he released
Soñar y Nada Más, which included the revival single “Mamá Vieja” and became a
staple in regional playlists. Continuing to embrace digital formats, he issued
the compilation Remembranzas de Mi Pue...
