Jorge Alberto Muñiz Gardner, known professionally as Jorge Muñiz or Coque Muñiz,
born May 1, 1960, in Guadalajara, Mexico, is a Mexican actor, singer, and
television presenter. The son of singer Marco Antonio Muñiz, he sang in Armando
Manzanero's children's choir before studying communication sciences. At age 18,
he began hosting the television show Alegrías de mediodía. He expanded into
acting with an appearance in Hasta que los cuernos nos separen (1995) and the
