Jonsu
Johanna Salomaa, known professionally as Jonsu, born January 18, 1984 in Espoo,
Finland, is a Finnish singer, songwriter, violinist, and guitarist. She began
playing the violin in childhood. During her violin lessons, she met Heini, the
future bassist of the Finnish band Indica. She joined Indica as its lead
vocalist and songwriter, performing primarily in Finnish, with the exception of
the album A Way Away, which she sang in English.
