Jonatan Cerrada
In 2003, the public discovered 17-year-old Jonatan Cerrada in the first edition
of the TV talent show A la recherche de la Nouvelle Star (2003), which he won.
His first single, a cover of Michel Jonasz's "Je voulais te dire que je
t'attends" (I wanted to tell you I'm waiting for you), was released in the
summer, and was followed by his first album in September. But after a poor
showing at Eurovision 2004, the flop of his second album (2005) marked the
downturn in his popularity. The young man tried to revive his career by taking
part in musicals.
