Johnnyswim, an American folk duo consisting of singer-songwriters Amanda Sudano
and Abner Ramirez, was formed in 2005 in Nashville, Tennessee. The duo met after
Sunday service at a church in Nashville, where they began collaborating on
music. Their first self-titled EP was independently released in June 2008.
Johnnyswim gained traction with releases such as 5-8 (2010) and notable
collaborations like "Morning Song" (2009) with Bruce Sudano. The duo's
breakthrough came with their charity single "Hallelujah", released in December
