John Tesh
John Frank Tesh Jr. was born in 1952 in Garden City, New York, and is known as a
pianist and musician. He began playing piano and trumpet at age six and was
named to the New York State Symphonic Orchestra during high school. In 1987,
John Tesh joined Yanni's touring band for a brief period, which marked his first
live performance experience. This led to him signing his first recording
contract with Private Music. In 1994, he performed at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in
Morrison, Colorado, featuring the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and notable
