With his bright red hair and confrontational glare, John Lydon (aka Johnny
Rotten) became the iconic face of British punk. The son of working class Irish
immigrants to London, Lydon spread Anarchy in the UK as the snarling front man
of rock legends the Sex Pistols before dabbling with industrial, dub and all
manner of experimental sounds with the influential post-punk group Public Image
