John Lee Hooker, Jr.
John Lee Hooker Jr., born on January 15, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, is an
American blues musician and Christian minister. He started performing with his
father, John Lee Hooker Sr., and his band at a young age, making his first
notable appearance on WJBK Radio Station at eight. His solo career began in 2004
with Blues with a Vengeance, which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best
Traditional Blues Album. The album included covers of his father's hits like
"Boom Boom" and "One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer". In 2008, he released All
