John Gorka
John Gorka is an American singer-songwriter born in 1958 in Colonia, New Jersey.
He graduated from Moravian College in 1980 and began performing as a solo artist
at the Godfrey Daniels coffee house. In 1984, he was named one of the winners of
the New Folk competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival. Gorka released his
debut studio album, I Know, in 1987 through the label Red House Records. During
his career, he has performed with artists including Suzanne Vega and Shawn
