John Frusciante
John Frusciante is an American rock guitarist known best for his times with the
band Red Hot Chili Peppers with whom he made five studio albums. He has
collaborated with several other acts including Mars Volta and Speed Dealer Moms
and pursued a solo career. He won Grammy Awards with Red Hot Chili Peppers and
Mars Volta.
Born to a musical family in the New York borough of Queens, he learned to play
the guitar as a teenager and joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1988. He left
