Joey B. Ellis, born Joseph Ellis on 22 April in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is
an American rapper and singer who began his music career as MC Breeze, producing
his own tracks while working for a pizza-delivery service. His breakthrough came
with his contributions to the Rocky V soundtrack (1990), which led to a contract
with Bust It Records in 1991. He released the compilation The Best of MC Breeze
(1986) and the studio albums Joey B. Ellis (2007) and The Way I See It (2008),
