Joey Albert
Maria Josefina Albert, known professionally as Joey Albert, was born on March
19, 1960 in the Philippines. She began her professional singing career in 1981
and won the Dream Girl Filipina contest on The Party television program hosted
by Ariel Ureta. In 1984, she signed with OctoArts International and released her
first single, "Over and Over", which enjoyed tremendous airplay. Her debut
