Joel Savoy
Joel Savoy, born in Eunice, Louisiana, is an American Cajun fiddler and music
producer. Son of accordion builder Marc Savoy and musician Ann Savoy, he
performs with the Savoy Family Band and co-founded the Red Stick Ramblers in
1999. In 2006, he co-founded the independent record label Valcour Records, and
in 2007 he won Fiddler of the Year at the Cajun French Music Association's Le
Cajun awards. His discography includes Linzay Young & Joel Savoy (2008), Joel
Savoy's Honky Tonk Merry-Go-Round (2013), and Toi, Tu Joues à L'amour (2018).
