Joseph Mark Cohn, also known as Joe Cohn, was born on December 28, 1956, in
Flushing, New York, and is an American jazz guitarist. He began playing guitar
as a teenager, transcribing recordings from artists such as Art Tatum, Thad
Jones, and Clifford Brown. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and
played with musicians like Nick Brignola and Bob Mover before performing at
