João Pedro Pais
João Pedro Pais (born on September 20, 1971) is a Portuguese singer-songwriter.
With a career encompassing two decades of music, Pais’ style combines soft rock
with folk, pop, and R&B. Segredos (1997), his debut album, earned Pais a
nomination for Best Male Singer at the Globos de Ouro Awards. Recorded in London
with producer Luis Jardim, Outra Vez (1999) topped the Portuguese charts and was
certified platinum, selling more than 40,000 copies.
He followed his winning streak with Falar Por Sinais (2001), which spawned the
