Jo Corbeau
Georges Ohannessian, known professionally as Jo Corbeau, born December 1, 1946,
in Marseille, France, is a French reggae singer and songwriter. After studying
at the Beaux-Arts in Marseille and Paris, he founded the group Albert et sa
fanfare Poliorcétique in 1971, which released the opera-rock album La
Malédiction des rockers (1972). Corbeau's breakthrough came with reggae
compositions like "Reggae Lussac" (1978) and collaborations with the group Men
in the Hill, recording singles such as "Forza Bastia" and "Nord Sud Reggae". In
