Jimmy Riley
Martin James Ziggy Norman Riley, known as Jimmy Riley, was born on May 22, 1947,
in Jonestown, Kingston, Jamaica. He formed The Sensations, achieving success
with singles like "Everyday is Just a Holiday" and "Those Guys". After leaving
the group, he joined Slim Smith and Lloyd Charmers in The Uniques, where they
had hits such as "Watch This Sound" and "My Conversation". Riley's solo career
began with producer Bunny Lee. He produced several hits in the 1970s and 1980s,
including a cover of Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" which topped the UK reggae
