James Anthony Bernard Justice, born James Anthony Bernard Little on 15 December
1939 in Bermondsey, South London, was an English pop singer known as Jimmy
Justice. During his early career, he formed ties with Dave Sweetnam and George
Sweetnam, stepbrothers of Emile Ford, which led to occasional performances with
the Checkmates. In 1959, he competed in a talent show and signed with Pye
Records following encouragement from Emile Ford. His debut single, "I Understand
