Jimmy A
Jimmy Abegg, born December 29, 1954, in Alliance, Nebraska, is an American
singer who is also known as Jimmy A. He began his career in the 1980s as a
founding member of the progressive rock band Vector, releasing the albums
Mannequin Virtue (1983) and Please Stand By (1985). In 1991, he issued the solo
album Entertaining Angels and later joined Rich Mullins' A Ragamuffin Band,
contributing to the 1995 release A Liturgy, a Legacy & a Ragamuffin Band. Abegg
also collaborated with Charlie Peacock's Acoustic Trio, working on the West
