Jim Snidero, born on May 29, 1958, in Redwood City, California, is an American
jazz saxophonist. He studied with Jim Murphy and Phil Woods, then attended the
University of North Texas and performed with the One O'Clock Lab Band. Moving to
New York City in 1981, Snidero recorded and toured with Jack McDuff before
joining Toshiko Akiyoshi's Jazz Orchestra in 1983. His album, On Time, was
released in 1984. Throughout his career, Snidero has collaborated with notable
