Jenny Salgado
Jenny Salgado, known professionally by the stage name J.Kyll, is a Canadian
rapper, singer-songwriter, producer, and director born in Quebec to Haitian
parents. She reached professional recognition as the first female master of
ceremonies to establish herself in the history of Quebec hip-hop. In 1999,
Salgado co-founded hip-hop group Muzion, releasing the studio recordings
Mentalité Moune Morne... (Ils n'ont pas compris) (1999) and J'rêvolutionne
(2002). Both albums won Félix Awards for francophone hip-hop album of the year.
