Jeanfrançois Prins, born on February 18, 19637, in Belgium, is a jazz musician
who started playing guitar at 17. He formed his first band two years later and
performed in Brussels, mentored by Toots Thielemans. Prins graduated from
college in Brussels with a degree in audio engineering and studied jazz and
guitar at the Royal Conservatory of Music Brussels. In 1993, Prins moved to New
York City and released the album Beauty & the Prince. He collaborated with
