Originally from Wales, JaYd grew up in a local village before moving to
Blackpool, England. She made her career in France with the track "Hero", a tune
shaped according to the principles of urban pop, with a touch of electro. The
track, which features the participation of Sugar Kawar, gave rise to a
six-version EP released in October 2016 and a promotional video to raise the
profile of the singer, who began her musical apprenticeship with the trumpet at
