Javine Dionne Hylton, known mononymously as Javine, is an English singer and
songwriter born on December 27, 1981, in Kensington. From a young age, she
showed a passion for dance and began her stage school training at the age of
ten. She played Nala in a production of The Lion King in London's West End
before transitioning to music. Hylton auditioned for ITV's reality television
talent show Popstars: The Rivals, where she was one of the last six contenders
but did not make it into the girl group Girls Aloud. She embarked on a solo
career, releasing her debut single "Real Things" ...
