Javiera Muñoz, born Javiera Margarita Odija Ubal Muñoz on May 28, 1977, in
Motala, Sweden, was a Swedish singer with Chilean and Uruguayan roots. Raised in
Hjällbo, a suburb of Gothenburg, she saw a breakthrough in her music career by
participating in the Melodifestivalen 2000 with "Varje timma var minut",
finishing fourth. Her self-titled album debut album was released in 2002. She
returned to Melodifestivalen in 2002 with "No hay nada más", placing sixth.
