Javier Bergia García, born on June 3, 1958, in Madrid, Spain, is a Spanish
singer-songwriter and musician. He began his career as a guitarist, singer, and
percussionist, influenced by artists such as the Beatles and Bob Dylan. In the
late 1970s, Bergia joined the group Atrium Musicae de Madrid and later
collaborated with Finis Africae. His breakthrough came in 1985 when he won the
Ministry of Culture's new singer-songwriter contest and composed the theme for
the television series Media naranja, which led to his first LP, Recoletos
